Apple Keynote File Bloat

Was perusing my files looking for a PPT file to do some testing on and came across the following in Finder:

Keynote Bloat

Notice that the PPT file is 1.8 MB and the Keynote file is 24.6 MB.  I opened the Keynote today and did a fresh export just to make sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks on me.  Wow!  Talk about file bloat.
