Toyota Toya Tires on ‘07 Toyota Highlander
Anyone else having troubles with their Toyota Toya tires on their car? We have had two flats in the span of about 5 months. Called the dealer, Fred Anderson Toyota in Raleigh, and they don’t even have the stupid things in stock. Mind you, they tell you not to buy other brands because they won’t be matched, so what are we supposed to do? Well, turns out Fred Anderson will sell us other brands, but now I have to buy two because they can’t get their hands on the correct model. And, of course, now my spare will only really be good for two of the tires on the truck.
Add this to the general overall feeling that I have now (more on this later) that Toyota’s just ain’t what they used to be and I am ready to turn the darn thing in 3 years before the lease is up. We had an ‘04 Sienna which was just beautiful, but this Highlander is just not nearly as well made as that ‘04. And I am not the only one. Seems Toyota is selling it’s soul to sell. Nothing like throwing away your reputation for a few extra dollars in the short term.

Will neve buy another Toytoa. HUSBAND’S MATRIX TIRES HAD 14K MILES AND WERE BALD. Just replaced tires on 07 Highlander 15,700 miles as tires bald! cost 600 to replace them! also had two flats repaired on original tires, was told there were nails– twice?? on one of original tires.
Tires should last at least 16,000 miles!! Shame on Toyota for putting dangerous cheap tires on our cars.
