So, easy, Kosta... My mind is very open. Try your advice yourself. Take a look at the facts. Look at the MA balance sheet, and then come back to me about parachutes and openness.

If you bother to read it, you will see that the large majority of MA acolytes make very little money. And even less, when you consider the claims that some are making millions. See http://grantingersoll.com/2006/01/29/market-america-questions/ for more info, in that post, I run the numbers on the latest financials as posted by MA.

Hi Christine,

I don't have recommendations on online business, except to treat it like any business proposition. I say, go with what you know. I like Donny Deutsch's Big Idea, if that helps at all. Perhaps there is a way to leverage your restaurant experience online?

Thanks for the opinion. I saw a portal and was tempted, but after reading you blog, I am not so convinced. Any suggestions for a legitimate on-line business. I come from a brick and mortar 8 yr. run with my own restaurant so I am not afraid of hard work.

Well, I'm now more convinced then ever that this is the way to make money off MA. I track, in Adsense, my MA channels, and the money keeps coming. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to retire off it, but I'm making between $80-$100/month off of MA for what is, at this point, next to no work merely by serving up these blog entries. That puts me in the $1000-$1200 per year. Not far off from the average MA person according to their annual report, me thinks...
