Wow.  What an unbelievable bike ride tonight.  There must have been some good karma flowing tonight, because there must have been 5 or 6 separate incidents where cars patiently waited behind me in tricky spots on the road, waited till I passed before pulling out or gave me extra wide berth when passing.  It was just unbelievable, I can’t recall a ride in the Cary/Apex/Wake County area in recent memory that didn’t have at least one jerk driving too close or doing some other stupid thing because they think bikes don’t belong on the road.

So, a big thank you to all the courteous drivers on the road tonight who did that little something extra to give a guy out for an evening bike ride a little extra safety and enjoyment.
