Personal Kyoto: Achieve Your Own Personal Kyoto Protocol!

Really cool idea!  Wish they had it for North Carolina.

Of course, from the sounds of Duke Energy and Progress Energy lately, they don’t care too much about you reducing your energy usage, they just want to build more coal plants.  I forget, when did the powers that be at Duke and Progress come to the conclusion that energy is synonymous with coal?  Hey guys, just because coal is bad, doesn’t mean producing energy is bad.  The only way you are going to stay in business is by coming up with alternative solutions, which may mean clean burning coal.  The number one sign of a big industry in the death throes is an increase in lobbying and political pressure, trying to legislate their existence instead of providing the consumer with new products to meet their needs.
