Is it worth it to buy iLife ‘06 at this point or wait for the phantom iLife ‘07?  My current version, ‘04, can no longer handle the number of photos I have in iPhoto.  The Apple Live chat people are worthless when it comes to answering the question.

Of course, what I really want is Aperture, but, alas, my old G4 doesn’t make the grade, at least according to Apple.  The dumb thing is, it will run on a  Powerbook G4 15″, but not a  desktop G4 w/ 2gb of RAM.  C’mon, Apple, you know it will work.

By the way, the $59 is the price of the Academic Staff version.
