Better Internet Explorer Support

I think I finally have solved my Internet Explorer problems (at least with IE 6, haven’t tested 7 yet) having to do with the listing of categories as menus at the top of this page. In browsers that support real CSS, there are nice hierarchical menus, all done in CSS. These never displayed right in IE, but now I think I have fixed that finally by putting in some User Agent detection code in the PHP that handles that part of the display. Since the large majority of my readers are from IE, I suppose I should have supported this sooner, but I always kind of hoped that they would go get Firefox instead, as it is a much better browser, IMO.

Internet Explorer, Firefox, Cascading Style Sheets, CSS, User Agent, PHP
