Had a nice ride out to Jordan Lake this morning (see map). Some really nice roads, especially Wimberly and the other roads around 751. 751 is decent on bike, but there is a lot of car traffic compared to the other backroads around it. Lowlights of the ride are High House (short amount, but still a pain) and the driver on Old Apex road who thinks it is perfectly all right to pull out in front of a cyclist.

Other than that, a banner ride of 33 or so miles with some nice long sections where you can ride in aero position without feeling worried about needing to swerve in case of bad roads or cars.
