Sad day for Twins Fans
It was a sad day yesterday for Minnesota Twins fans, as Kirby Puckett passed on from complications of a stroke.
For me, Kirby was the Twins growing up. I can’t tell you how many times we practiced robbing home runs or we relived the ‘87 World Series. Kirby was that guy you always loved to watch. He was always smiling, yet always working hard. You could see he loved the game and he loved playing for the Twins. Simply put, he played baseball the way it should be played.
