Calvin and Hobbes
Was browsing through Amazon.com and came across what is probably the single greatest comic collection of all time: The Complete Calvin and Hobbes
. I guess I am getting old, but I remember reading C & H religiously every day of the week for a lot of years. I don’t think I ever grew tired of Spaceman Spiff, or Hobbes greeting Calvin at the door. And the questions Calvin would ask his dad, such as how engineers figured out how much weight a bridge could hold (answer: they drove bigger and bigger trucks across it until the bridge collapsed, then they weighed the truck and rebuilt the bridge). Not sure yet, but this collection will probably be going on the Christmas list this year.
